Excuse me while I kiss the sky

I like blogging, I honestly believe I’m from a past generation (really, I do), music is what keeps me going, counterculture inspires me, Keith Richards and Steven Tyler are my boyfriends, my favorite color is purple, chocolate is more than just a sweet pleasure — it’s life, I like animal print, documentaries are always interesting, math will be the death of me, and I’m pretty much stuck in a jukebox.

My name is Millie, pleased to meet you!
"We are all stardust; keep on shining."

I feel like I am stuck in the past. I love my bands, but I feel as if I’m getting nowhere by listening to them repeatedly. I occasionally attempt to listen to new music, but my tries fail every time. It’s like my ears are adjusted to classic rock only… I kind of want to switch it up a bit.

Any suggestions?

Led Zeppelin // Hey Hey What Can I Do

Oh crap, I never knew the name of this song whenever it would come up on the radio until recently.  The only non-album track released by Led during their run, the B-side to Immigrant Song.  Plant really has a damn knack for painting landscapes and scenes from a story.

“So I pack my bags and move on my way, ‘cause I got a worried mind.  Sharing what I thought was mine, gonna leave her where the guitars play.”

Favorite Led Zeppelin song ever.

I don’t give a fuck about what negative things you have to say about them… they are both still very handsome to me (:
